Kate Champion has always had a passion for helping others and a commitment to disability advocacy, even before her ADHD diagnosis in 2019. Kate specialised in Psychology with a BPS accredited Natural Sciences Degree from the University of Cambridge, where Kate also completed an internship with the problem gambling and addiction laboratory.
As student disabilities officer at Newnham College Cambridge, Kate worked closely with students, staff and the university’s disability resource centre. Her career background includes a fine art specialisation, and time as a studio and production assistant for a high-level design agency. She now brings her creativity in managing her own ADHD to others.
In her free time, she volunteers with Switchboard, a confidential LGBT helpline, and runs weekly watercolour classes.
